One of the largest Japanese festivals in Southern California, Japan Family Day is returning to Los Angeles this spring. Hosted along with The Tokyo City Cup, this is an event where both adults and children can have fun and eat lots of delicious Japanese food all day 🙂

When: April 2, 2017 (Sun) 10:30 am – 5 pm
Where: Santa Anita Park
What: Food booths, cultural exhibitions, stage performances, demonstrations, fun activities for kids and adults
How much: Admission is $5 for 18 years or older but free coupon is available on the website. Anyone under 18 years is free.
At the food booths, you will enjoy various yummy Japanese food such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki, sushi, curry rice, yakisoba, kobe beef, karaage, rice burger, shaved ice and crepe. Alcoholic beverages such as draft beer and sake will be served as well.
The Tokyo City Cup is held annually to celebrate a long partnership with Tokyo City Keiba’s Ohi Racetrack. The race will bring together some of the top thoroughbred of Japan so you will be able to see beautiful horses and enjoy the race as well.
