Celebrating 8th anniversary this year, J-Pop Summit is returning to San Francisco once again to exhibit Japanese music, fashion, anime, manga, film, culture and, not to mention…food!!!
Here is a snapshot of the event.
When: July 22 (Fri) through July 24 (Sun)
Where: Fort Mason Center & The Regency Ballroom
What: Live concerts, film festival, demos, art & culture experience, vendors & exhibits
How much: Tickets starting $25 for one day (kids ages 0-5 are free, 6-12 $15)
Note: The food vendors are serving Saturday and Sunday only
You will find large selection of Japanese food and drink vendors both inside and outside the pavilions. They will be clustered into four sections.
1) Ramen Summit ($8 per bowl)
This is where the top rated ramen restaurants from the region and Japan gather in one place! Try as many as you can from Orenchi Beyond, Iza Ramen, Hidenoya Ramen Bar of Japan, Ramen Taka and Naruto Ramen!!!
3) Snack & Drink (prices vary)
Non-sake alcohols such as shochu, beer and plum wine will be served here along with Japanese snacks (okashi) and sweets.
4) Food Truck (prices vary)
The food trucks will line up outside serving street food and soul food of Japan! Look for takoyaki, onigirazu (rice sandwich), crepes and more!
